A Night To Remember

Join us at Searchlight Brewery on Saturday 18 July for an afternoon and evening of live music, community, and joyous remembrance.

A Night To Remember is about bringing people together to celebrate life, share stories, support good causes, and connect with one another.

The event has grown out of the Life Behind The Lens tour with Doug Allan, which travelled across the South Island earlier this year. Sadly, Doug passed away less than two weeks after the tour finished.

Inspired by his legacy and the outpourings of support, we felt a need to create a space where friends, family, locals, and visitors alike could come together in a positive and uplifting environment, to celebrate the lives of the loved ones we have lost.

We'll be hosting live bands and DJs, alongside a fundraising raffle featuring prizes generously donated by local businesses. There will also be a selection of Doug Allan's photographic prints available for purchase.

Funds raised through the event will be donated to New Zealand charities, including Live Ocean, whose work helps protect and restore the health of New Zealand's oceans.

The event will feature:

• Live bands, DJs, and local performers

• Food, drinks, and good company

• Opportunities to support NZ-based charities

Whether you're coming for the music, the community, the cause, or simply a great afternoon out, everyone is welcome.
