Life Behind The Lens with Doug Allan

Adventures, encounters and insights from Doug Allan, the award-winning cameraman whose TV credits include Blue Planet, Planet Earth, and Frozen Planet.

Join Doug for an unforgettable evening as he takes you up close and personal with the animals that live in the wildest places on earth - illustrated by Doug’s images and clips from the TV series.

  • Where can you film a polar bear and its cubs as they emerge from their den?
  • How do you make sure you don't lose that important dive hole while filming seals under the ice?
  • Why would a whale choose to trust you underwater for her close up?

60 minute talk from Doug followed by Q&A with the audience.
